In German-Scandinavian mythology, Fоrsеtі was the son of Balder and Nanna. In Asgard, he owned a chamber called Glitnir which in translation means "sparkling" or "shining" palace. His house, like his throne, is made of gold and silver, fused and shining no less brightly than the sun. It is in him that Gоd accepts all disputants, if they are gods or people, it is from him that he monitors the correctness of all courts on earth.
Sitting on the throne, Fоrsеtі, the legislator, resolved the disputes between gоds and people, patiently asking questions and listening to both sides, making decisions so fair that no one could ever challenge them. The power of eloquence and conviction of this gоd was so great that his words always reached the hearts of the listeners, and he always managed to reconcile the worst enemies. All who left his palace lived in peace, not daring to break the oath given to him, since his anger could fall on them, and death would immediately strike them.

As the gоd of justice and the eternity of law, Fоrsеtі was supposed to preside over every court hearing. He was invariably approached by everyone who had to undergo a trial and said that he always helped those who deserved it.
All who come to him with a lawsuit return in peace and harmony. He settles any disputes, he is the main peacemaker.
For many centuries it was he who was considered one of the wisest aces. But most of all, his eloquence was noted. It was these qualities that gave him both the right and the opportunity to convey to all people what is justice.
