Originally believed to be a deity worshipped by the Knights Templar, Baphomet has since been incorporated into several occult traditions, notably appearing in Aleister Crowley's Gnostic Mass. Baphomet, sometimes referred to at the “Sabbatic Goat," is depicted as a hermaphroditic winged human figure with the head and legs of a goat. A statue just like these was most recently featured on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!
